Raquel
My name is Raquel, and I am 38 years old. I am married and have a daughter, Aurora Reese who was born in 2016, and a son Ellis who was born in 2019. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved to take care of my younger cousins and the babies around me.
After graduating from Stony Brook University in 2008 (with a bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with 3 concentrations in Business Management, Sociology, and Theater Arts) I taught 1st and 2nd grade at The Lower Lab School in the UES. For three and a half years, I was employed at Kidville in Carroll Gardens as the Head Teacher and Facilities manager leading most of their enrichment classes as well as Lead Teacher for the Preschool Program. In addition to working as Project Date Night's team babysitter, I also run my own event planning company.
I have a love for theater arts; I am trained in modern dance and ballet; I enjoy cooking, organizing, and being outdoors - especially on the beach in the summer. I am always punctual (being on time is late to me, I AM ALWAYS EARLY), reliable, and qualified and I have no problem being silly. My philosophy is learning through play. I am very into health and wellness and active in the Peloton community including cycling, rowing, running, and yoga!
