Hi! I am Joanna, and I am happy to be part of the PDN team. Originally, I am from Poland, and NYC has been my home for almost 7 years now.

I have a degree in laboratory science and pharmacy which very much goes together with my scientific mind. My education helped me gain many technical skills and a deeper understanding of learning by exploration. I can clearly see how important it is for little ones to discover and explore the world around them to learn and grow. I love watching kids find joy in outdoor adventures, whether it's picnics in the park, playing with sticks, building houses out of rocks, or climbing trees. Safety is my priority number one while I am taking care of children of any age -  It is all about having fun together while maintaining a positive attitude with a sense of responsibility that clearly shows where the boundaries are.

In my free time, I find peace and relaxation around nature and art. My outdoor passions are activities like running, biking, hiking, and roller skating. My indoor interests are music, dancing, knitting, and crafting.

I'm looking forward to working with all PDN families!
